Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

What special thing did you do for your mother today? My sister and I cooked Italian food for dinner! It didn't turn out as delicious as we wanted to, but we tried our best. ^^

I also made a small gift for my mom. I've posted the picture below so please take a look! The earring findings and the jump rings are all silver 925 (sterling silver). I've also used two different types of Swarovski crystals.
Beads/Materials that I've used:
  • SV 925 Jump Rings 0.6x4mm
  • Swarovski #3223 12x6mm (Color: Light Sapphire)
  • Swarovski channel SS29 (Color Light Sapphire)

What Time Is It? It's Autumn Time!

Last week, I was asked by my teacher to make a necklace for her mother-in-law (birthday present). These were her requests for the necklace:

1. Autumn themed
2. A pendant or charm in the middle

And so...this is what I came up with:

The hardest part was trying not to make it too simple, but not too junky either. It was challenging and took me a while to figure out the design. After trying out several designs, I finally found the right one! I really love the color combination for this one. It's very autumnish. ^^

I hope that my teacher's mother-in-law will like her necklace! *Fingers crossed*

    Beads that I used:

  • Swarovski #6012 15.4x14mm (color: olive)
  • Swarovski #5523 12mm (color: copper)
  • Swarovski #5020 6mm (color: golden shadow)
  • Swarovski #5301 3mm (color: olive)
  • Czech cut beads 4mm (color: olive)
  • Czech cut beads 4mm (color: orange)

Lola the Snail

Hello everyone! I apologize for the lack of update. :( A lot of things have happened and updating this blog kind of slipped out of mind. o_0

Anywho, meet Lola the pink and shiny snail! She's my new pet...attached to my cellphone.
As this piece of work contained many intricate parts, it took me at least three days to make. The face was the hardest part because I had to string the beads all over the place! I'm very proud of how it turned out. ^^

Beads that I used:

  • Glass cut beads (button cut) 3mm light pink
  • Swarovski 3mm yellow
  • Swarovski 3mm orange
  • Czech seed bead gold

Length: 7.5 cm (the strap not included)

Thank you to my little sister for taking the pictures for me. ^^ I will be uploading more soon so please keep checking for more updates!

    The Start of Something New

It's been a long while since I've written a blog and it feels very natsukashii writing in it. I created this blog to post up pictures of the jewelries/accessories that I've made and designed. Feel free to comment and tell me what you think of my work. I am open to any advice or ideas given.

Alright, so below is a picture of a mirror that I've designed the beginning of this summer. (FYI it's a butterfly)
